Our Meadow Guest Suite is completely private full basement of 1100 square feet. Your private living area with gas fireplace opens into an alcove kitchenette, and overlooks a bright and airy workout area with sliding glass door onto your own private patio and fenced back yard. Through the French doors you’ll find a large bedroom well-furnished with a private desk, king-size bed and dressers. Rest comfortably on a luxury firm mattress with high thread count linens. The private bathroom with tub and shower is located immediately off the private living area. Pets are allowed with a pet deposit. (Maximum of 2 large dogs)

Open and Airy with Meadow and Mountain Views

Our space is open and airy with picture windows everywhere (including our guest rooms). Houseplants brighten the indoor spaces while in summer, hanging baskets and planters bring lively color to the deck and entrances.

From every window you’ll delight in views of the surrounding mountains, trees, and rock outcroppings. Many different types of local and migrant birds visit our feeders in every season. We see lots of deer and turkey in winter. Summertime welcomes the addition of bears, foxes, ermine, marmots and more while the hummingbirds flit around our flowers. Many types of wildflowers dot the meadows with peak bloom time from mid-May to mid-July.

A Charming and Comfortable Stay

The home is homey, airy, bright and comfortable. We live in the house, so this is not a vacation rental where you have the place to yourself. We have extremely (sometimes annoyingly so) friendly cats and a loving old white lab – so be forewarned that you may have company sometimes in the shared living spaces (not in your room though). The wood pellet stove on the main level is almost always going during the winter months, and is a great space to relax and rest in.
